Terms of Service

By registering for and participating in the Paranox 2.O hackathon ("Event"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not participate in the Event.
1. Eligibility
Participants must be students currently enrolled in an educational institution or recent graduates as specified in the official rules. All participants must register through the official channels provided by the Event organizers.
2. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of background. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Any participant violating these rules may be expelled from the Event at the discretion of the organizers.
- Be respectful to others. Do not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior.
- All work submitted must be your own original work created during the hackathon period, unless otherwise specified.
- Do not engage in any illegal or unethical activities.
3. Project Submissions and Intellectual Property
You and your team retain full ownership of the intellectual property (IP) of the project you create during the hackathon. By submitting a project, you grant the Event organizers, sponsors, and partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your project submission for promotional and archival purposes.
4. Judging and Prizes
Projects will be judged based on criteria announced by the organizers. The decisions of the judges are final and binding. Prizes are awarded at the discretion of the organizers and sponsors and are non-transferable.
5. Disclaimers
The Event is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not responsible for any technical issues, travel problems, or other circumstances that may prevent you from participating fully in the Event.
6. Limitation of Liability
By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and partners from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with your participation in the Event.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued participation in the Event after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
